The two weeks will consist of classroom instruction at the Hotel Le Monastere in Limoux ,a charming town on the banks of the Aude River in the sun-soaked Midi region. This area is called” Little France” as it contains nearly every type of geographical feature in the rest of the country. The area is quiet and not overrun by tourists and this is where the impressionists would be painting if they were alive today. Your “home base” is Limoux with four star accommodations at Le Monastere, restored 18th century mansion with monastic features dating back to medieval times. Each spacious guest room has it’s own private bathroom.
